Yes, our plant-based braiding hair is safe to heat and curl up to 350 degrees, but do not use a lighter to burn the ends.

Do not burn braid better plant-based braiding hair. The natural fiber does not contain harmful chemicals like flame retardants and will not melt like plastic when enflamed.

Unlike plastic synthetic hair, braidbetter will not melt after dipping in boiling water. To properly seal the ends, dip, flat iron, or curl the ends to your liking. The temperature of the water does not need to be boiling hot; room temperature is fine.

All natural fibrous materials shed. Similarly, human hair extensions shed, too, and you can expect some shedding. We strongly recommend following the care and installation instructions for the best results.

Yes! Here's how:

1. Shampoo and condition your extensions with your favorite sulfate- free products
2. Apply 50 grams of glycerin to each dampened bundle and massage throughout
3. Detangle the extensions using a denman style brush
4. Apply a few pumps of your favorite hair oil to each bundle and brush to disperse the product evenly throughout the bundle
5. Allow each bundle to air dry in a cool and dry environment overnight
6. Brush each air-dried bundle with a hard bristle brush to smooth out the fibers and apply additional hair oil as needed
7. Your braidbetter extensions are now ready for reuse
